Cornering The Market #92 - Feb 7, 2024
Christies goes full AI, Autoglyph sales, and more | Cornering The Market #92
I’m starting a newsletter on Preventive (Longevity) Medicine.
I’m an Ivy League trained doctor and a few years ago my life changed when a family member died from a preventable disease, shifting my focus to Longevity Medicine.
Over the past year I’ve helped patients prevent the diseases most likely to cause them death or disability, giving them confidence in their long-term health.
It’s my mission to bring this knowledge to the world, starting with this newsletter.
Please subscribe and follow on Twitter and Youtube if you are interested, and stay tuned for more in the coming weeks.
Market Recap
We are back after an extended winter holiday! That being said, it seems like the art market is still on holiday as we haven't seen a ton of movement yet in 2025.
A big liquidation event in the markets a week ago didn't help,
but now that sentiment has been reset we are seeing more exxcitement out there,
plus some bright spots in the art market we can hang our hats on.
Read on below for the top news, upcoming releases, and more!

News & Events
The high end of the market is still buzzing with a flurry of top cryptopunks sales (including the fantastic 3D glasses hoodie shown at the top of the newsletter) along with 2 Autoglyphs as some of the more notable sales.
Even though overall volumes are down, the top end has not been slowing, which is a great sign.
Christie's is going all in on AI art with an exhibition that will be exclusively AI generated art! Will AI be the next big wave in the art world?
In our corner of NFT art we certainly think so, and it seems perhaps Christie's agrees.
Our friend Clownvamps Junk Machine will be there too (more on that below), so if you are in the NY area check it out!
Speaking of AI art, Fellowship resumed their daily AI video art auctions this week with great releases from top artists like Noper, Rainisto, and others.
Check out the full list to see some of the most creative works out there.
Great art, great prices - beautiful art for ~$500 or less

Exciting upcoming drops
Masks of Luci have been partially released, but are worth noting given the intense focus on Sam Spratt's newest expansion of his ecosystem,
featuring a 1/1/613 release that you must be invited to (and costs 2.56E to mint).
There is some kind of an event going with it as well that leads it through March, which is somewhat shrouded in mystery.
Sam sure is good at keeping us guessing!
Keke, an autonomous AI agent is releasing it's first works on 2/20, but did you know there is a coin attached?
300 pieces are coming out for 0.1E on Fellowship (who have been affiliated),
but you have to be a top 300 holder of $keke to be included
Each will be 0.1E, and here is a nice thread showing all of the algos that were picked by the voters
Art to highlight
THE JUNK MACHINE by Clownvamp - currently on a world tour (just returned from Japan), The Junk Machine is a brilliant exhibition + robot by OG AI artist Clownvamp.
The machine spits out prints of 80s style advertisements created by an open source AI model that is representative of current AI models and is a prelude to what the world of marketing might look like as AI diffiuses through it.
The art is fantastic and concept is even better, one of our favorite AI art collections to come out in the past year
